La Dolce Vita by Anne-Marie Cloutier

La Dolce Vita is a series of photographs reflecting on the absurdity of the living experience. We go through a sequence of events set off by our coming into the world. Followed by a chain of events that is rather predictable. Is the textbook human development what defines the human experience? How do we break from the routine of the day to day? As humans we inherently try to make sense of our experience and environment by looking for associations that would justify our reality. However, this attempt at finding meaning often Is the textbook human development what defines the human experience? How do we break from the routine of the day to day? The act of looking exposes the most bizarre and beautiful moments that makes this place worth staying a little longer. It is through a sequence of images taken in the last few years in various places around the world, while visiting family and friends, that I try to articulate the absurdity of life.
