Artspace Gallery TMU welcomes your submissions for solo or group exhibitions in our 401 Richmond space.

We are interested in new and recent work in any medium

This general call for submissions is open year-round to undergraduate and graduate students and alumni of Toronto Metropolitan University.

FAQs

  • The call for submissions is open to all students and alumni of Toronto Metropolitan University.

  • We are interested in new and recent work IN ANY MEDIUM.

  • To be considered for 2026-2027, the deadline is June 14th 2026.

  • The committee reviews submissions at the end of June. You can expect a response at the end of July.

  • Our shows run 6-8 weeks, we typically allocate 1-2 weeks for installation/prep before the show, and the opening/closing events are held on Thursdays. (either first or last of the run)

  • Both are welcomed!

    We are interested in proposals for solo and group shows,

    They can be proposed by the artists themselves or by a curator.

  • Exhibition proposals should be for projects that are beyond the preliminary development stages and close to completion.

  • Submissions should not exceed 25MB in total. Please submit image galleries as compressed PDFs, and video by link only. ie. vimeo, youtube, etc.
