John Delante is a visual artist based in Toronto, Canada. His work explores themes of home, belonging, and identity through image-making. He creates a visual language that blends memory, temporality and shared experiences to examine the ways of understanding the self and envisioning a reimagined future informed by these influences. John graduated with a BFA in Photography Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2022.
Artspace TMU presents our fourth annual fundraiser to support our BIPOC Artist Fund. This year, we’ve collaborated with 10 amazing BIPOC students and alumni from The Creative School to release special edition prints for sale!
The BIPOC Artist Fund provides financial support to BIPOC artists who will exhibit with the gallery. The money can be used at the artists’ discretion to realize ambitious projects and cover exhibition costs like printing and framing. 100% of sales goes directly to our artists.
A special thank you to Smokestack Studio for generously donating their time & printing services, making the fourth BIPOC Artist Fund possible.
