FIRST EDITION PHOTOBOOK SHOW

Opening Reception: January 28th, 7pm - 10pm
March 6th – April 3rd, 2016

The second annual First Edition Photobook Show features work by third and fourth year students from Ryerson University’s School of Image Arts. The 60+ editions were inspired by the concept of mapping and include clamshell boxes, scrolls, zines and maps. The show will run from Thursday, January 28, until Monday, February 8, at Ryerson Artspace at the Gladstone Hotel.

The First Edition Photobook Show is a collaborative effort amongst Ryerson photography students working within various areas of the photography spectrum; with works belonging to the documentary, fashion, landscape, portraiture and still life genres, as well as many others, there is sure to be an artwork fit for everybody’s taste.

After the success of last year’s First Edition Photobook Show, Ryerson photography students are back this year with more work to show than ever before. This show will prove to be a great opportunity to see the work of upandcoming Toronto artists, as well as a chance for visitors to the show to get their hands on some first edition, limited run works.
