First Edition Photobook Show

Opening Reception: Thursday, January 25th 2018, 7 - 9pm
Exhibition Run: Thursday, January 25th - Sunday, February 4th, 2018

The First Edition Photobook Show features work by third­ year students from Ryerson University’s School of Image Arts. The 50+ editions were inspired by the concept of mapping and include handmade boxes, scrolls, zines and newsprints. The show will run from Thursday, January 25 until Sunday, February 4, 2017, at Ryerson Artspace at the Gladstone Hotel.

The First Edition Photobook Show is a collaborative effort amongst Ryerson photography students working within various areas of the photography spectrum; with works belonging to the documentary, fashion, landscape, portraiture and still life genres. This show will prove to be a great opportunity to see the work of emerging Toronto artists, as well as a chance for visitors to the show to get their hands on some first edition, limited run works.
